WE’RE HIRING — DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER Power to Move is looking for caring, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing NDIS team. We provide inclusive, community-based supports through our gym, day options, life skills programs, respite, community access and future independent living pathways. This role would suit someone who is calm, practical, energetic and genuinely passionate about helping people build confidence, independence and connection. At Power to Move, our supports are built around: Movement. Meals. Mindset. Me. The role may include: Supporting NDIS participants in the gym and community Assisting with day options and life skills programs Supporting participants with routines, meals, movement and daily activities Encouraging independence, confidence and participation Supporting social and community engagement Assisting with respite and community outings Completing case notes and communication updates Working as part of a positive, person-centred team We are looking for someone who has: A warm, patient and professional approach Strong communication skills Reliability and initiative Ability to follow support plans and directions Confidence working with people with disability Good boundaries, common sense and emotional maturity A genuine belief in inclusion, dignity and respect Requirements: NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Current First Aid and CPR Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle preferred Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability highly regarded Experience with behaviour support, personal care, diabetes support or community participation is a bonus This role may suit experienced support workers, students completing their Certificate III in Individual Support, or people with the right attitude who are looking to grow in the disability sector.
