The company is a trusted partner on multiple government panels, providing ICT professional services, project and program management, engineering and technical services, and material logistics. Role Description The Project Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in Adelaide, supporting a complex program within Defence. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising project and program schedules, including work breakdown structures, dependencies, milestones, and resource allocations. The Project Scheduler will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to track progress, identify schedule risks, and propose mitigation strategies. Day-to-day activities include producing schedule reports and dashboards, supporting governance and status meetings, and ensuring alignment with contract requirements and organisational standards. The role also contributes to continuous improvement in scheduling practices, tools, and processes across the portfolio.QualificationsActive NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)Demonstrated experience in project scheduling and planning, including creating and managing detailed schedules for complex, multi-stakeholder programs.Proficiency with industry-standard scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent) and strong skills in Excel or other analytical software.Solid understanding of project management principles, including critical path analysis, resource planning, risk management, and change control.Experience working in Defence, with familiarity in contract-based delivery environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to present schedule insights to technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, PRINCE2) are highly regarded.
