About the Role We are seeking multiple Junior Network / Infrastructure Engineers (APS4–APS5 equivalent) to support a high-profile Defence program. These roles are based on site in South Australia (including RAAF Edinburgh) and involve working within a secure, mission‑critical ICT environment. Successful candidates will work across complex infrastructure environments including networking, virtual platforms, and cloud‑based systems. Role Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of complex ICT environments, including CISCO and Juniper networking systems Monitor system performance, availability and reliability using standard tools and processes Perform system configuration, backups, and data restoration activities Use network monitoring tools to track performance and generate reports Assist in managing incidents, problems, and change requests within IT service management platforms Support administration of user accounts and permissions Contribute to identifying and resolving operational issues Assist with documenting system processes, configurations, and enhancements Technical Skills Exposure to CISCO and/or Juniper network environments Understanding of core ICT infrastructure including network, physical and virtual systems Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Transport Controller, and Splunk Basic scripting or programming capability (desirable) Knowledge of system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices Ability to follow structured operational procedures and standards What is on Offer Opportunity to work within a national security environment supporting critical Defence operations Long‑term contract: 12‑month initial term with extension options (up to 3 years total) Exposure to advanced technologies and enterprise‑scale infrastructure Career progression within Defence and government ICT programs Supportive team environment with structured onboarding and development Security Requirements Current TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) clearance is required Ability to undergo and pass the Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) Australian citizenship is mandatory Candidates must be willing to work onsite and participate in shift work How to Apply Please upload your resume to apply.
