Job Info Location: HOPE ISLAND, QLD Salary: Hourly Rate Job Type: Contract position | Casual position Job Description Support Worker Wanted – Arundel & Hope Island (Gold Coast) About the Role: The role includes supporting the participant with daily living and community participation, including: Household cleaning and maintaining a tidy home Assisting with day-to-day tasks including cooking dinners and meal prep Community access and appointments Supporting with the care and supervision of a primary school-aged child when required including school drop offs and pickups Building a positive, supportive relationship with the participant and their family We're Looking For Someone Who Is: Friendly, reliable and trustworthy Confident with household cleaning and cooking Comfortable interacting with and supporting a primary school-aged child Has excellent communication skills Able to work independently and show initiative Essential Requirements: NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Current driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle Relevant experience in disability support preferred If you're caring, dependable and enjoy helping others live more independently, we'd love to hear from you.
