Monday to Friday set shifts - finish early on Fridays! Multinational company & one of the world's largest recycling, service and water companies. Penalty rates if worked. Wingfield Location. Temporary role with potential to transition to permanent role (pending performance). Supportive team and well-maintained workshop facility. Quality tools provided, inclusive culture, team activities. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, repairs, & scheduled maintenance on a variety of trucks. Troubleshoot & repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards. Maintain accurate service records, job cards & work orders. Work independently with minimal supervision during the afternoon shift. Uphold workshop safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. Requirements: Australian trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic OR Diesel Mechanic (Cert III) 1 years demonstrated Australian experience on relevant trucks, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes & Dennis Eagle vehicles. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities. Ability to work across a 5 day work week, potential rotating shifts. Reliable, self motivated, & able to work autonomously. HR or MC Licence is highly regarded but not essential. Ability to meet D&A screening as well as pass a pre employment medical.
