Job Description Cold Store Manager Full-time, ongoing Hillier, South Australia 5116 We are an established horticultural production enterprise based in Hillier South Australia. We are seeking an experienced Cold Store Manager to manage our cold storage operations and maintain cold-chain integrity for our produce. Remuneration & hours Salary package: from $71,550 per annum plus superannuation (paid in accordance with the applicable Award; commensurate with skills and experience) Full-time, ongoing position Hours: 38 ordinary hours per week, averaged over a 4-week cycle (152 hours per 4 weeks), plus guaranteed overtime of approximately 8 hours per week (paid at overtime rates) — around 46 hours per week in total. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day cold store and coolroom operations and maintain cold-chain integrity Monitor and record storage temperatures and act on any deviations Coordinate intake, storage, stock rotation (FIFO) and dispatch of produce Ensure food safety and biosecurity compliance and maintain records Supervise and coordinate cold store staff Maintain equipment and report faults Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements Skill & Experience About you A relevant AQF Diploma (or equivalent); or 3 years’ experience as a Cold Storage Manager Knowledge of cold-chain management and food-safety requirements Ability to supervise and coordinate a team Forklift licence and sound record-keeping (desirable) Reliable, safety-focused and organised How to apply Qualified applicants may apply online.
