About the role Blackwood Optical is seeking an Optometrist Assistant/Optical Dispenser to join our team. This is a casual position offering one day per week (8 hours), every second Saturday for 3 hours, and covering other staff member's leave during the year. What you'll be doing Providing excellent customer service to patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment Performing routine administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records and handling enquiries Help process and deliver optical orders for glasses and contact lenses, including frame selection assistance and adjustments. What we're looking for Ideally experience working in an optometry practice/optical dispensary or health retail setting like pharmacy.
