The Role We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of the Improving Early Autism Identification and Referral Pathways: A Co-Designed Education Model for General Practitioners in South Australia project. This is a fixed-term role required to be delivered by 31 August 2026 . The role will coordinate GP engagement activities to inform the development of an autism education module, ensuring the content is practical, relevant, and aligned with referral pathways and available support services. While the University of Adelaide will develop the educational content, this role ensures GP input is central to shaping outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and facilitating GP focus groups, including some evening sessions to accommodate participant availability Stakeholder engagement and relationship management Supporting the development and evaluation of education and training initiatives Synthesising information and insights from stakeholder consultations Managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion by the project deadline Overseeing project budgets and processing payments associated with focus groups Working within established organisational systems and processes Preparing high-quality written reports, project documentation and communications We are seeking candidates with: Experience in education , GP training, professional membership organisations, healthcare, or a related field Strong stakeholder engagement skills Excellent written communication skills (essential) Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesise information from multiple sources Experience coordinating focus groups or consultation activities Demonstrated project coordination experience with responsibility for deliverables Experience in education/training development or evaluation (highly desirable) Experience using PayGP or managing participant payments (desirable) Knowledge of healthcare, general practice, or medical education environments would be advantageous
