St John Bosco College is a Catholic co-educational College in Piara Waters, a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. We commenced in 2015 with students from Kindergarten to Year 2. In 2026, we have 1400 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, as well as an OSHC facility. Have a commitment to Child Safety and Protection consistent with the CEWA Child Safe Framework. Be an enthusiastic, flexible and cooperative educator in supporting students with their learning, who will work collaboratively with all staff within the College. Possess a sound knowledge of educational theory and pedagogy appropriate to cater for the learning needs of individual students. Possess the ability to coordinate SWD Funding applications and management of NCCD data. Liaise with parents, staff and CEWA consultants and work collaboratively to support student progress. Oversee the development of IEP’s, AP’s and IBMP’s to promote the social and academic development of students. Engaging with staff to implement modifications and adjustments for students and lead discussion around learning support matters in PLCs and at staff Professional Development days. Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, in particular the General Capabilities and ABLESWA, and implementation of these in relation to students with special needs. Demonstrate the ability to work with external stakeholders to oversee support and therapy for students with additional needs. Demonstrate the capacity and enthusiasm to build community by participating fully in College activities in collaboration with staff, parents, students and the Parish. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills. Qualifications Required Education Teaching qualification (minimum 4 years). CEWA Accreditation.
