The Venue Part of a respected hospitality group, this high-energy Italian dining destination has built a loyal following through consistently great food, genuine hospitality and an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Operating across bustling casual dining, premium à la carte service and large-scale functions, the venue delivers exceptional volume without compromising on service. Every shift is fast-moving, every service is different, and success comes from a team that genuinely enjoys working together. Strong leadership, clear systems and an ongoing commitment to developing people have created a workplace where hospitality professionals can build long-term careers. With continued investment in both the venue and its people, it's an exciting time to join a business that continues to raise the bar. The Role As Restaurant Manager, you'll become the driving force behind daily operations, leading one of Sydney's busiest Italian dining venues with confidence, energy and a genuine passion for hospitality. You'll take ownership of service across the entire operation, overseeing casual dining, à la carte and function services while leading a large front-of-house team through busy trading periods. Reporting into senior operational leadership, you'll mentor Assistant Managers, develop future leaders and ensure every shift runs with consistency, pace and professionalism. This is a highly visible leadership role where success isn't measured by the time spent in the office, but by your presence on the floor. You'll coach in the moment, solve problems before they escalate, build team confidence and create memorable guest experiences through hands-on leadership. Commercially, you'll work to deliver strong labour performance, uphold operational standards and continually look for opportunities to improve service, culture and overall venue performance. It's an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a business that values initiative and rewards leaders who invest in their people. About You You're the type of leader people naturally gravitate towards. Calm under pressure, approachable and decisive, you know how to get the best out of a team without needing to micromanage. You've managed large hospitality operations before and understand the balance between exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance and creating a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. You lead from the floor, communicate with confidence and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves during the busiest services. You'll be someone who enjoys mentoring emerging leaders, holding high standards and creating accountability while maintaining a positive, supportive culture. Ideally you'll bring: Previous Restaurant or Venue Management experience in a high-volume hospitality operation Proven success leading large front-of-house teams through busy service periods Strong commercial awareness across labour, productivity and operational performance A hands-on leadership style with exceptional communication skills The ability to build culture, develop people and drive accountability Passion for hospitality, guest experience and continuous improvement If you're looking for a leadership opportunity where you'll be trusted to make decisions, supported by experienced operators and given genuine opportunities to grow into broader operational leadership, this role is well worth exploring.
