About this role: Reporting to the Quality & Clinical Risk Manager, this role supports effective quality, clinical governance and risk management across Southcare’s community services. You will assist with audit activity, document control, incident and risk administration, reporting, action tracking and continuous improvement records. In this role, you will; Maintain quality, clinical governance and compliance documentation Support document control, including policies, procedures, forms and records Assist with internal audit activities and external audit preparation Collate evidence, audit findings and supporting documentation Track actions, corrective actions and continuous improvement items Maintain incident and risk registers, including accurate data entry and reporting Support records management, correspondence and confidential document handling Liaise professionally with internal stakeholders to obtain information and follow up outstanding actions Contribute to a positive, improvement-focused team culture Report hazards, incidents and near misses in line with Southcare policies and procedures This is a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (22.5 hours per week) over 3 days. To be successful in this role you will bring; Demonstrated experience in aged care, preferably within Support at Home / community care services Experience supporting quality (e.g; maintaining registers, evidence collation, action tracking and document control) Demonstrated experience supporting and assisting, coordination and collating audits including tracking completion of corrective actions High level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering data, maintaining records and preparing reports and dashboards Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and a willingness to work within Southcare’s Mission & Values Current National Police Clearance (as required under the Aged Care Act and organisational policy) Desirable Previous experience in a compliance, quality, risk support role within aged care, community services, disability, or health Working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and incident/risk concepts (e.g., root cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement) and/or experience using an incident/risk management system (e.g., MOA or similar) Sound understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and records management obligations and experience applying these in document control and evidence collation What Southcare can offer you! 12% superannuation competitive Salary Packaging benefits of up to $15,900 per annum tax free (more after tax $ in your pocket!)
