What's on Offer $54.61 per hour penalties Monday to Friday | 5:00am – 3:00pm Saturday overtime available | 5:00am – 11:00am Ongoing long-term opportunity Weekly pay Immediate start available Stable workshop-based role About the Role Working within a busy structural steel workshop, you'll be responsible for erecting and assembling structural steel frameworks used in large industrial projects. This is a hands-on role requiring strong steel erection experience and the ability to interpret technical drawings while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Positioning, aligning and levelling structural base frames onto assembly stands Installing secondary steel including handrails, platforms and grid mesh Reading and interpreting ISO and structural drawings Loading and unloading structural steel using forklifts Preparing completed structures and materials for transport Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment About You To be successful, you will have: Minimum 2–3 years' experience in structural steel erection Experience interpreting ISO and structural drawings Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work safely in a fast-paced workshop environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Essential Tickets Forklift Licence EWP Ticket Basic or Intermediate Rigging Ticket Working at Heights Drivers License If you're an experienced Steel Erector looking for a long-term workshop opportunity with excellent rates and consistent overtime, we'd love to hear from you.
