ROLE – Maintenance Manager SALARY - $140,000 to $155,000 per annum, dependent on experience TYPE – Permanent LOCATION – Southwest Sydney, NSW My client is a leading manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment. They are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function, drive equipment reliability, and manage a skilled maintenance team at their site in Southwest Sydney. The Maintenance Manager will ideally have the following attributes: At least 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Manager, Team Lead or Supervisor Relevant experience and qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related trade qualification Previous experience working in hands-on maintenance within a manufacturing, FMCG, production or industrial environment Proven leadership experience Strong knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance strategies Experience managing maintenance budgets, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC-controlled equipment Experience implementing and improving CMMS and maintenance planning systems Excellent fault-finding, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities A proactive approach to health, safety and continuous improvement The Maintenance Manager role will involve: Leading and managing a small maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operations Developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability Managing reactive maintenance activities to minimise production downtime Planning and coordinating maintenance schedules, shutdowns and major equipment overhauls Monitoring maintenance KPIs, budgets and departmental performance Driving continuous improvement projects to improve plant reliability and operational efficiency Managing external contractors and suppliers while ensuring quality and cost control Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations Working closely with production, engineering and leadership teams to support operational objectives Coaching, mentoring and developing maintenance personnel to build a high-performing team If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible.
