Client and You: Join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business producing high-spec engineered products for demanding applications. They have 3 branches in Australia and employ 100. Based in a major industrial precinct close to Port Botany and Sydney Airport. This role would suit someone from a small to mid-sized engineering, manufacturing, or production business. Responsible for the effective delivery of Quality Management across the company's products — on-site, not remote. Applicants must come from a manufacturing or production environment. The business needs someone who's previously taken ownership of ISO 9001, tidied up systems, improved documentation, managed audits, and closed out NCRs/CAPAs — all while working closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and leadership. The Job: Own, maintain, and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Act as Quality Lead for NPD projects, coordinating with manufacturing and procurement to meet quality, regulatory, cost, and timeline requirements. Review, update, and roll out quality procedures, forms, registers, work instructions, and system documentation. Prepare for and support internal, external, surveillance, and customer audits. Manage NCRs, CAPAs, corrective and preventative actions, root cause investigations, and close-out documentation. Partner with procurement and external suppliers to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions. About You: Full working rights in Australia. Degree in Engineering (postgraduate highly regarded). At least 5 years' experience setting up and owning Quality Management Systems. Excellent understanding of ERP/MRP systems. Strong presentation skills; confident facilitating across departments. Salary: Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, which vary with regard to experience, ranging from $110 to $130,000 base Super.
