We are seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join our dynamic department and help deliver innovative, high-impact talent solutions across the organisation. We currently have one (1) Permanent, full-time position available with an immediate start. This recruitment process will establish a 24-month pool of suitable candidates for current and future opportunities as they arise. Why this role matters As a Recruitment Advisor for the Multi-Sector Portfolio, you’ll be a driving force behind talent strategy, partnering with hiring managers across Maritime, Freight, Ports, Aviation and Reform, Urban Mobility, Regional Services & Transport Sustainability and Strategic Projects to understand their needs and shaping recruitment approaches that attract exceptional people. You’ll bring fresh, modern sourcing techniques and a strong advisory mindset to help teams design roles, refine selection processes and make confident hiring decisions. In this role, you’ll lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition activities while championing innovative, people‑centred practices that align with our organisational goals. Your expertise will support leaders across the department to build high‑performing teams and ensure we’re positioned to secure the talent we need now and into the future. Your responsibilities will include: Partnering with business leaders to plan and manage recruitment. Shaping roles and job design in collaboration with stakeholders. Guiding managers through establishment, advertising, assessment, and selection. Monitoring recruitment metrics and driving continuous improvement. Leveraging platforms and sourcing tools to elevate candidate attraction. Supporting effective onboarding and alignment with broader People and Culture initiatives. You will work closely with a collaborative Talent Team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across the department. About you The panel will be assessing applicants against the following suitability requirements : Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment and selection services. Understands contemporary recruitment practices and enjoys finding better ways of working. Can analyse issues, solve problems and contribute to recruitment initiatives and improvements. Builds strong relationships and communicates effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Has sound knowledge of recruitment and employment legislation and processes. Works collaboratively, manages competing priorities and delivers quality outcomes.
