We are looking for an experienced and practical Team Leader – Workforce and Service Delivery to lead rostering, workforce coordination and service delivery support across our Aged & Community Care programs. This role is central to keeping in-home aged care services running smoothly for older people in the community. You’ll oversee day-to-day rostering, support scheduling staff, monitor workforce coverage, and help ensure services are delivered safely, consistently and in line with client needs. Working across our Woden and Northside sites, you’ll lead a team of Scheduling Coordinators and work closely with Home Support Workers, other Team Leaders, HR, Finance, Payroll and Compliance. The role also oversees the quality and delivery of domestic assistance and gardening services, including third-party provider coordination where required. About the role In this role, you will: Lead workforce coordination and rostering across Woden and Northside. Support Scheduling Coordinators to produce accurate rosters and manage day-to-day changes. Help maintain service continuity by monitoring leave, vacancies, unplanned absences and unfilled shifts. Use workforce data to identify risks, trends and practical improvements. Oversee Home Support Worker timesheets, travel kilometres and related data quality. Support induction, training follow-up, audits and workforce planning. Help resolve workforce, invoice, roster and service delivery issues. Contribute to quality, safeguarding, incident reporting and continuous improvement. Work with clients, carers, staff and external providers to support effective service delivery. This role works across both our Woden and Northside sites, so regular travel between offices is required. The position is expected to be office-based 4–5 days per week to support day-to-day rostering, staff supervision and service delivery. There may be scope to work from home one day per week in the future, once the role is established and operational needs allow. About you You will be someone who can stay calm in a busy operational environment, make sound decisions, have a strong attention to detail, and keep people informed when things change. You’ll need to be organised, confident working with data and systems, and comfortable having difficult conversations. You will bring: Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination or service delivery operations. Supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong judgement and the ability to work with limited direction. Confidence using data and systems to monitor performance, identify risks and improve processes. Good communication skills, including the ability to work with staff, clients, carers and internal teams. An understanding of aged care, home support, community services or similar programs, or the ability to learn quickly. Current, or willingness to obtain, First Aid certification. Current National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People registration. Essential Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, rostering, scheduling or service delivery leadership, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven people leadership skills, including the ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience using workforce data, KPIs and operational reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and work autonomously. Relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of qualifications, experience and expertise. Desirable: Experience in Aged Care, Community Services, Home Care, CHSP, Support at Home, Disability Services or a similar human services environment. Knowledge of workforce management systems, rostering platforms and service delivery software. Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, safeguarding principles and person-centred service delivery. Experience managing multi-site workforce operations and service coordination functions.
