Exciting opportunity to join our team as a part-time Homemaker and Wellbeing Officer. The position is responsible for planning and coordinating a range of engaging activities and programs that create a home environment to enhance the quality of life for our aged care residents. What you'll be doing Developing, implementing and evaluating a diverse calendar of activities to meet the individual needs and interests of residents Coordinating and facilitating stimulating group activities, outings and events that promote physical, cognitive and social wellbeing Providing personalised one-on-one support and companionship to residents, building meaningful connections Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach to resident care Maintaining detailed records and reporting on resident engagement and outcomes Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment that upholds the dignity and rights of all residents Creating a home environment for residents What we're looking for Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering engaging activity programs for older adults, preferably in an aged care setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with residents from diverse backgrounds Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands Passion for improving the quality of life for older adults and a commitment to person-centred care What We Offer Approximately 45 hours per fortnight - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday both weeks Competitive pay in accordance with the Aged Care Award Salary packaging with tax benefit Professional development and career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative team culture Access to wellbeing programs including Pilates classes and Employee Assistance Program On-site parking
