AO4 Finance Officer | Buderim | $60.06–$65.81 per hour Super Our client is seeking an experienced AO4 Finance Officer to join their collaborative finance team based in Buderim. This contract opportunity will see you supporting the financial administration of a large portfolio of civil infrastructure projects while partnering closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders. What's on Offer AO4 Government Contract (2 years) Buderim location $60.06–$65.81 per hour Super (depending on experience) Flexible working hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm (38-hour week) Supportive team environment Opportunity for contract extension About the Role As the Finance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate financial administration of major infrastructure projects, providing financial support, processing transactions and maintaining governance across project finances. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process financial approvals and documentation Process journals, timesheet journals and financial transactions Complete contract reconciliations and governance checks Review project cost requests and financial information Liaise with Project Managers regarding financial requirements Maintain financial registers using Excel and SharePoint Follow up outstanding actions and ensure deadlines are met Provide accurate financial administration and support across multiple projects About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or Project Finance position Strong reconciliation, journal and general ledger experience Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills Intermediate to advanced Excel skills The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience within government, construction, engineering or project environments will be highly regarded.
