About the Role As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and producing a range of pastries, cakes, desserts and bakery items to a high standard. You will work closely with the bakery team to ensure consistency, quality and smooth daily production. Key Duties Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, slices, desserts and other bakery products. Ensure all products meet quality, taste, presentation and consistency standards. Follow recipes, production schedules and food safety procedures. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organisation in the pastry and bakery areas. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients when required. Minimise waste and support efficient kitchen and bakery operations. Assist with training and supporting junior staff where needed. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced bakery environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work early mornings, weekends and busy service periods. Good attention to detail and pride in presentation. Reliable, hardworking and able to work well in a team.
