We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join the front-of-house team at World Gym Canning Vale. Why Join the Team? · Complimentary gym membership · Staff discounts across our Pro Shop and Barbell Café · Supportive, high-energy, and community-focused club culture · Ongoing training and development opportunities · Career progression opportunities within a growing national network · The opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and motivating fitness environment What you’ll be doing in this role: · Greeting members and handling general enquiries · Answering phone calls · Making shakes at our Barbell Café · Completing POS retail sales · Maintaining cleanliness of the gym · Completing stocktakes and ensuring stock levels are correct · Stock ordering · Entering and receiving purchase orders · Building and maintaining retail displays · The successful applicant will be the senior staff member on evening shifts in the absence of management. You will also be required to work sole charge at times throughout their shifts. What you need to be successful: · Previous customer service and/or retail experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills · A friendly, positive, and professional approach with the ability to build rapport quickly · Confidence working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment · Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently · A genuine passion for health, fitness, and delivering exceptional member experiences · Confidence using POS systems, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and learning new operational systems To apply please complete the application through Seek and include a cover letter outlining why you would like to work with World Gym.
