As we continue to expand our Construction training offerings, we are currently seeking two experienced and passionate trainers to join our team: Trainer & Assessor – CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering Trainer & Assessor – CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling Please note: These are two separate positions. About The Role These positions are ideal for qualified tradespeople who are enthusiastic about sharing their industry knowledge and helping develop the next generation of skilled trades professionals. Successful candidates will deliver both classroom-based theory and practical workshop training, ensuring students gain industry-ready skills in a supportive learning environment. Location: Perth Employment Type: Permanent Part-time Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling/CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering Plan and conduct practical simulation-based activities, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and safe practices Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Provide academic support and guidance to students, including mentoring and advising. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other college activities. Required Qualifications and Skills: For the Solid Plastering Position: CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering (or equivalent qualification). For the Wall and Floor Tiling Position: CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent qualification). For Both Positions: TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher, or willing to obtain these qualifications. At least 3 years of industry experience in plastering/tiling or a related area. Overseas experience is also acceptable. Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment to continuous professional development. Sound level computer literacy, and previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills, high level of written and oral communication skills.
