KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL FLOORING & BUILDER ACCOUNTS Choices Flooring Rockingham Choices Flooring Rockingham is seeking an experienced flooring professional to take ownership of a portfolio of key builder and commercial accounts. This is a newly created role designed to support the continued growth of our business and strengthen relationships with some of Western Australia's largest residential builders. Unlike many account management roles, this position comes with a substantial pipeline of work already awarded and ready to be managed. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service, building strong relationships with site teams and installers, and ensuring projects are delivered professionally from quotation through to completion. Working directly with the owners of the business, you will become the primary point of contact for major builder and commercial clients whilst working closely with Choices Flooring Head Office (Newfurn) in Melbourne, local builder representatives, site managers, suppliers and installers to ensure projects are delivered professionally and efficiently. This is a highly autonomous role that combines estimating, account management, project coordination, site inspections and relationship management. About the Role You will be responsible for: • Managing a portfolio of key builder and commercial accounts • Building strong relationships with site managers, supervisors, construction managers, suppliers and installers • Site measuring and estimating • Preparing accurate quotations and project costings • Conducting site inspections and quality reviews • Managing variations and project changes • Liaising with installers and subcontractors • Assisting with scheduling and project coordination • Working closely with Choices Flooring Head Office (Newfurn) in Melbourne regarding builder accounts, project administration, commercial opportunities and operational matters • Acting as the key liaison between Choices Flooring Rockingham, Head Office, builders, site managers and installers • Managing work-in-progress and ensuring projects progress smoothly from order through to completion • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard • Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and improve service delivery About You To be successful in this role you will have: • Flooring industry experience (essential) • Measuring and estimating experience (essential) • Strong knowledge of flooring installation methods and subfloor preparation requirements • A practical understanding of Australian Standards and flooring installation requirements • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Strong organisational and time management skills • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Confidence dealing directly with builders, site supervisors and installers • A solutions-focused approach and the ability to think on your feet Experience with Measure Square, BOS, or similar estimating and project management systems will be highly regarded.
