ABG Projects is seeking a qualified and experienced Wood Machinist / Wood Trades Worker to join its dynamic construction team. This role is critical in executing complex timber-related tasks and supporting the company's strong reputation in delivering high-caliber construction outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Interpret project blueprints, drawings, and prototypes to define timberwork specifications Operate woodworking machinery such as planers, saws, routers, and sanders Select and assess appropriate timber and materials based on quality and job requirements Use CAD software to develop technical drawings and production plans Oversee full production lifecycle from design to material selection, machining, assembly, and finishing Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and project managers for accurate execution Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment Provide direct client interaction to ensure satisfaction with design and craftsmanship Skills And Qualifications Trade certification in wood machining, joinery, or equivalent qualification Minimum of 5 years' experience in wood machining or similar trades At least 2 years of experience on construction sites High proficiency in CAD software for design and planning Extensive hands-on experience with various woodworking tools and machinery Strong eye for detail and precision Excellent team collaboration and communication skills Valid Driver's license and reliable transport Why Work at ABG Projects?
