Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare and strap horses for trackwork, trials and races Feed, groom and follow all reasonable instruction to promote, maintain and improve the quality of horse management and training of racehorses Report to Trainer or Foreperson all elements of horse's performance Any other basic stable duties Locations & Schedule: Kulnura Monday to Saturday 0600-1700 Sunday 0700-1700 Wyong Monday to Saturday 0400-1000, 1500-1700 Sunday 0600-1000, 1500-1700 Requirements: Stablehand: must have 1 year horse handling experience and be familiar with stable duties Sr Stablehand: Must have 3 years of racing stable experience, in a similar role Must hold valid driving license and have reliable transport Compensation and Benefits: Salary DOE significantly above Award, with 1- and 3-year longevity increases Stablehand: $31.50 - $36.40 / hr. (Target Annual Compensation in excess of $80,000) Sr. Stablehand: $35.80 - $38.05 / hr.
