About the role Prison Health Services are seeking enthusiastic, experienced Clinical Nurses to join their team of health care professionals where staff can make a significant contribution to improving the health outcomes for their patients. There are currently permanent part time and full time positions available for immediate filling at a variety of facilities across the service. Clinical Nurses provide clinical leadership, critical thinking, and direct care to patients throughout the patient journey in a custodial setting. Utilising comprehensive clinical assessment and excellent communication skills, the role promotes and supports delivery of safe quality care within a multidisciplinary team. This opportunity would appeal to Clinical Nurses with demonstrated skills in one or more of the following areas: Primary Health Care, Chronic Disease Management, Blood-borne Virus Management, Women’s Health issues and Health Promotion.
