We have an exciting position available for a Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant in a friendly & supportive team environment with customers who appreciate your care. Convenient Chemist is located at 330 Crown Street Wollongong (near Wollongong Hospital). The chemist is open 7 days a week - 8am-7.30pm (Mon-Fri), 9am-5.30pm (Sat/Sun). This position is ideal for someone looking for a career in pharmacy - previous pharmacy experience is essential. The successful applicant's key responsibilities will be : a. Dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. b. Assisting customers and staff in store. c. Taking customer phone calls & orders. d. Delivering medication to customers in the local area. Preferred skills: Experience with dispensing medications Strong customer service focus Enthusiasm & interest in learning new skills Retail experience Experience with POS systems A permanent position with 20-40 hrs per week is available for the right person. The applicant must be available to work 1-2 nights per week (until 7.30pm) a rotating weekend shift.
