ModuSpec is seeking additional experienced BOP Surveyors to support inspection, verification and rig intake projects across Australia and the wider region, in line with growing demand. Role The BOP Surveyor will provide independent assurance of well control equipment, supporting safe and compliant drilling operations. Responsibilities include: Inspection and verification of BOP systems and associated equipmentReview of maintenance systems, certification and technical documentationWitnessing and verification of function and pressure testingSupport to rig intake, commissioning and operational assurance scopesIdentification and reporting of equipment condition and integrity issuesPreparation of daily reports and final client deliverablesLiaison with offshore and onshore personnel as an independent representative Requirements Proven experience working with BOP systems within drilling operationsStrong understanding of BOP components, control systems, and testing practicesExperience reviewing maintenance records and certification documentationBackground with a drilling contractor, OEM, or inspection/service providerStrong reporting skills and attention to detailWillingness to travel across Australia and internationally Relevant industry training and previous surveyor or inspection experience are preferred.
