State Government admin opportunity Your new company A well-established public sector organisation is seeking a proactive and highly organised Workers Compensation & Injury Management Officer to join their Safety, Health & Wellbeing team. Your new role Reporting into the Workers Compensation & Injury Management team, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support across a range of injury management activities. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the lodgement of Workers’ Compensation claims, including preparation of documentation and liaison with insurers Supporting return-to-work processes, including coordination of plans and maintaining communication with injured employees Following up on required documentation, such as medical certificates and reports Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and claims documentation Managing registers including document tracking, audit records, and other reporting logs Monitoring shared inboxes, responding to queries, and coordinating responses across the team Providing general administrative support to the broader safety function, including invoice processing, PPE orders, and safety consumables What you'll need to succeed Essential criteria: Previous experience in an administrative support role, ideally within workers compensation, injury management, HR, or a safety-related environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail Desirable: Experience working within a government or large organisation Familiarity with workers compensation processes, return-to-work programs, or claims management systems What you'll get in return Opportunity to gain experience within a reputable public sector environment Supportive and collaborative team culture Competitive hourly rate and flexible working arrangements (where applicable) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
