You’ll be working on BIG gear — machining heavy components used in mining and materials handling equipment. About the Job We have Afternoon Shift on offer , working across a range of large CNC machines. You’ll be: Programming and running CNC machines using G-Codes, Mastercam, and AutoCAD Checking parts to make sure they meet spec and quality standards Working on large-scale components across our modern workshop Machines include: Horizontal Lathe – up to 6 metres long Vertical Borer – 1m diameter chuck Horizontal Borer – 2m x 4m table Vertical Machining Centre – 0.8m x 1.8m table Large Floor Borer – jobs up to 88 tonnes What We’re After Trade qualified CNC Machinist with solid experience Confident with G-Code programming Strong with Fanuc controls Experience with Heidenhain and/or Siemens a bonus Able to read and work from engineering drawings and blueprints Reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in quality work What You’ll Get Afternoon Shifts available, additional 15% allowance Good pay and conditions Income protection and free life insurance Discounted private health cover Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid parental leave Salary sacrifice options Discounts with 500 retailers RCR Mining Technologies designs, builds, and maintains heavy mining gear — from feeders and conveyors to stackers, spreaders, and scrubbers.
