Stowe Australia one of Australia’s largest electrical & communications contractors is looking to engage the services of an Account Manager – for Data Centre Operations. As an Account Manager – DC Operations based in Melbourne, you'll play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that supports our clients in the Data Centre space and manages Stowe’s Data Centre contracts Your role will include the following: Infrastructure Contract Management: Lead the maintenance and operations Team in delivering the service of critical power systems, including HV/LV switchgear, standby generators, UPS systems, and battery banks. Team Leadership: Manage the maintenance planner and roster and mentor the technical team across the various DC contracts. Compliance & Safety: Work with clients in planning and scheduling manpower and relevant support systems to ensure all work is delivered and complies with the relevant AS/NZS standards, WHS (Work Health and Safety) laws, and stringent data centre SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and SOW’s (Scope of work). Vendor Management: Oversee external contractors and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for servicing and major equipment overhauls. Budget & Strategy: Manage operational expenditure (OPEX) in line with the tender allowances About you: Qualifications: Suitable qualification in an Electrical Engineering field with Contract Management experience. Certifications like Autodesk (ACC) qualifications are highly regarded. Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mission-critical facilities, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity. Technical Skills: Advanced understanding of data centre MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) equipment, Computer skillset and high-voltage (HV) switching operations.
