With a strong focus on customer experience, operational excellence and commercial performance, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the business and play a key role in shaping commercial decision-making across Marketing, Commercial and broader operational functions. The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a senior commercial finance role responsible for partnering with key functional stakeholders and executive leadership to drive commercial performance and sustainable growth. You will act as a trusted finance partner to the multiple teams, using financial analysis, commercial insight and business understanding to challenge assumptions, influence investment decisions and improve business performance. The role has broad exposure across pricing, margin optimisation, promotional planning, marketing investment, customer and channel profitability, product launches and strategic initiatives. You will also work across procurement, supply chain and operational performance to identify opportunities to improve gross margin and commercial outcomes. With exposure to senior executives including the COO, CCO and CFO, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys operating close to the business, influencing senior stakeholders and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations and action. Responsibilities Partner with Marketing and Commercial leadership to provide financial guidance, commercial insights and strategic support. Challenge assumptions and influence business decisions through robust financial analysis and commercial insight. Lead analysis across pricing, margin strategies, promotional planning and customer and channel profitability. Evaluate marketing campaigns, commercial initiatives and strategic investments to assess ROI and future investment decisions. Deliver insightful reporting and analysis across sales, gross margin, marketing spend and commercial performance. Develop financial models and business cases to assess product launches, investment opportunities and strategic initiatives. Partner with procurement and supply chain stakeholders to identify opportunities to deliver commercial value and improve financial outcomes. Analyse the end-to-end value chain to identify opportunities for gross margin expansion and improved operational efficiency. Partner with executive leadership to improve understanding of key financial and operational drivers and identify opportunities to optimise business performance. Translate complex financial and operational analysis into clear recommendations and actions. Lead, coach and develop one direct report. The Candidate You will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions across a complex consumer-facing organisation. You will combine strong financial and analytical capability with commercial curiosity, excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes. You will ideally bring: Experience in a Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Manager, Senior Finance Business Partner, Commercial Manager or similar commercially focused finance position. Strong commercial finance experience with exposure to pricing, gross margin, promotions, marketing investment, customer or channel profitability and strategic initiatives. Proven experience partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders and influencing commercial decision-making. Strong financial modelling capability and experience developing business cases, scenario analysis and investment evaluations. Experience translating complex financial and operational data into clear commercial insights and recommendations. Exposure to consumer-facing, retail, FMCG, hospitality, QSR or supply chain environments will be highly regarded but is not essential. Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills. An engaging, proactive and commercially curious approach. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability, with experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Previous experience managing, coaching or developing junior finance professionals will be advantageous. Qualifications Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
