About the Role: Monitor payroll compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and internal policies Conduct payroll audits, controls testing, and compliance reviews Support payroll remediation activities and governance initiatives Analyse payroll data to identify risks, trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities Assist in maintaining payroll policies, procedures, and governance documentation Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and system teams to strengthen payroll controls and processes Support internal and external audit requirements Contribute to payroll-related projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives Skills and Experience Previous experience in payroll governance, payroll compliance, payroll audit, or senior payroll operations within a large and complex environment Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll compliance requirements Experience conducting payroll reconciliations, audits, and risk assessments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex payroll data High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced Excel skills and experience working with payroll reporting and data analysis Experience supporting payroll remediation or governance projects will be highly regarded If this role sounds like you, then please APPLY NOW!
