As a Technology Communications Lead, you’ll sit at the centre of our Technology function, shaping how strategy, priorities and delivery are communicated across the organisation. You’ll define and deliver an integrated communication and engagement approach that brings clarity to complex initiatives, ensuring our people understand not just what we’re doing, but why it matters. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you’ll influence communication strategy, guide messaging, and help build capability across the function. Working closely with Change, Advocacy & Impact, and People teams, you’ll orchestrate communications across multiple initiatives to make sure messaging is coordinated, consistent and impactful. From leadership messaging to end-to-end storytelling, you’ll play a key role in driving engagement, readiness and adoption across Technology. This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane. Responsibilities • Define and lead the Technology-wide communication narrative aligned to strategy and delivery. • Translate complex technical initiatives into clear, engaging and business-friendly messaging. • Develop and deliver integrated communication plans across a large portfolio of work. • Partner with change teams to align communications with key milestones and readiness activities. • Act as a trusted advisor to senior Technology leaders on communication strategy and messaging. • Coordinate communications across multiple initiatives to avoid duplication and message fatigue. • Own and optimise communication channels, ensuring a connected and effective ecosystem. • Create high-quality content including leadership messaging, updates, presentations and toolkits. • Establish communication cadence, governance and reporting across the Technology function. • Measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve based on insights and feedback. • Support risk and issue communications with clear, timely and aligned messaging. Qualifications It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: • You bring significant experience in enterprise or corporate communications within complex environments. • Your background includes delivering integrated communications across large programs or portfolios. • You’re highly skilled at translating technical or strategic concepts into clear, engaging messaging. • You'll have strong stakeholder engagement experience, including advising senior leaders. • You understand how communications supports change and drives adoption in transformation environments. • You have excellent writing, editing and storytelling capability with strong attention to detail. • Your organisational skills enable you to manage competing priorities with ease. • You’re confident using digital communication platforms such as intranet, SharePoint or Teams. • You have experience in Technology, Financial Services or superannuation (highly regarded). • You'll hold qualifications in Communications, PR, Change or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
