Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Communications Officer to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects by providing high-quality communications, stakeholder engagement and community liaison services. In this role, you will work closely with project teams, residents, government stakeholders and local councils to ensure timely, accurate and effective communication throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. Key responsibilities include: Liaising with residents impacted by construction activities and maintaining positive community relationships. Coordinating Notices of Entry and communicating property access requirements. Assisting in the development and implementation of project communication plans and strategies. Preparing communication materials including flyers, traffic alerts, media releases, website content and stakeholder updates. Managing project enquiries and maintaining accurate consultation records. Updating traffic information systems and supporting digital communications initiatives. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver consistent messaging. Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, team events and project administration, including meeting minutes. Monitoring local events and identifying stakeholders who may be affected by project activities. Providing communications advice to project teams to achieve positive stakeholder outcomes. About You You will be a proactive communications professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Mandatory requirements: Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Marketing. Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence (or equivalent). Experience working within infrastructure, construction, transport or government environments will be highly regarded, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
