6-month Cyber Security Architect opportunity working for a government agency Your new company You will be working for a government agency based in Sydney CBD. Your new role Your role as a Cyber Security Architect is to play a key role in a large-scale cyber transformation program. Youll partner with senior stakeholders and vendors to design, govern, and embed robust security architecture across both Corporate IT and OT/SCADA environments What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in Cyber Security / Enterprise Architecture roles Strong knowledge of: Security architecture frameworks & governance Critical infrastructure frameworks (AESCSF or similar)OT/ICS security (IEC 62443, segmentation, isolation design)Identity security including Zero Trust, PAM, federated identity Experience delivering architecture across IAM, detection & response, and endpoint security domains Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences DesirableTOGAF, SABSA, CISSP (or similar certifications)Experience in utilities, energy, or other critical infrastructure sectorsHands-on experience with Microsoft security stack (Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender, Purview)Exposure to SOCI Act compliance and OT environments What you'll get in return Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with anexperience working with a renowned organisation, an attractive day rate and anopportunity for a great career progression.
