Six months after commencing, you will receive a payment of $4,000. Then, after one year’s full-time employment, you will receive an additional payment of $4,000. What we’re looking for We’re seeking good communicators who approach each day with a positive mindset and a belief that people have the capacity to change. There’s no specific professional background or qualifications needed for the role. It’s your life experience that counts in this job. What’s in it for you ✔ Earn up to $91,202 with a base salary of $63,469 plus penalty rates and overtime ✔ Annual salary increases, up to 5 weeks annual leave, 3 weeks personal leave and provisions for study leave ✔ 41 days comprehensive paid training (full time) ✔ Complete a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial), which, when completed, increases your pay ✔ Relocation assistance of up to $10,000 if you’re moving from more than 100km away. Eligibility You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold Australian permanent residency. You also need to hold an Australian driver’s licence (minimum P2). At present we are prioritising recruitment to the following locations: Locations based in the Geelong Region, Ararat, Castlemaine, or surrounding areas, or Candidates willing to relocate to one of these regions.
