Our client is seeking the services of an energetic and experienced Heath and Safety Manager to join their busy and growing team. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a proactive safety culture, and leads return to work (RTW) processes across all operations. Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety Management Develop, maintain and review WHS policies, procedures, and management systems in line with relevant legislation Lead incident investigation processes, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence Conduct and oversee regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits Manage hazard identification and risk control programs across all sites Prepare and present safety performance reports, KPIs, and trend analysis to leadership Return to Work Coordinate and manage return to work programs for injured workers in accordance with workers' compensation legislation Act as the designated Return to Work Coordinator (or oversee this function) Liaise with treating practitioners, insurers, and employees to facilitate timely, safe, and durable RTW outcomes Develop and monitor suitable duties programs that support recovery and maintain productivity Training & Culture Design and deliver WHS induction and ongoing training programs for all staff levels Build safety capability across the workforce by coaching supervisors and frontline teams Drive a visible, proactive safety culture with strong leadership engagement Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with applicable WHS legislation, codes of practice, and standards Manage statutory reporting obligations and maintain accurate WHS records and registers Coordinate and support internal and external WHS audits and inspections Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related discipline Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHS management role Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics environments highly desirable Demonstrated experience managing return to work and workers' compensation claims To be considered for this role please 'apply' by submitting an up to date word version of your CV.
