They now seek a Construction Project Manager to manage a multitude of projects and will enjoy a reporting line to members of the senior project team. The role is full time, and ongoing . Coordinating tenders for new construction projects. Developing relationships with both existing and new clients. Co-ordinating sub-contractors to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. Liaising with client’s architects and other interested parties. Overseeing construction projects to ensure high standard of work is maintained. Coordinating labour and materials. Managing / overseeing budget / costs programme. Interpreting drawings and specifications. Communicating broadly and effectively across the firm and ensure all internal parties are kept informed of key developments in projects including potential issues requiring escalation . Presenting as a positive brand ambassador for the firm. Required experience, skills and qualifications required to be considered for this opportunity: You will ideally demonstrate previous Project Management experience (at least 1 years post qualified, preferably much more) within a similar commercial development and construction environment. You will be competent with reading and understanding detailed construction plans, documents, and agreements in accordance with construction codes and standards. You will have strong industry knowledge in construction. We would expect at least a bachelor’s degree in a highly relevant subject area or agreed alternative. Excellent client skills and empathy.
