The Company Our client is an established designer and manufacturer of commercial furniture solutions. They are well known and highly regarded in Australia and are seeking an experienced BDM to open up new and develop existing relationships in VIC. The Role In this autonomous, hands on sales role you will be responsible for promoting their range of products, increasing brand awareness and ultimately solution selling products to a varied client base. The company supply a wide range of c ontract, loose and workstation related products and you will target sales through various commercial projects either through specification or direct sales to end users, builders, project / facility managers and D&C. You will be measured and rewarded well against realistic sales targets and KPI’s and will be assisted by the local purchasing, design and management teams. You will be supported but not micro managed and will have some flexibility in addition to attending and contributing to the local sales team culture. Skills Required We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills; 5 years commercial fit out sales experience in VIC . Strong face to face relationship building skills and superb presentation skills. A well developed network of contacts and decision makers in the fit out process including architects & interior designers. A self-motivated approach to selling and building relationships. Proven track record in selling and specifying fit out products.
