Solutions Lead - Melbourne-Based Electronic Security Presales & Solution Design We're partnering with a leading national ICT solutions provider that is continuing to grow its Physical Security division. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electronic security professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with client engagement, helping organisations design best-practice security solutions across commercial and government environments. This role is ideal for someone who has progressed beyond installation and engineering and is looking to play a more strategic, client-facing role while remaining hands-on with technical solution design. About The Role As the Solutions Lead, you'll work closely with Account Executives to develop and present tailored electronic security solutions for new and existing clients. You'll lead technical discovery sessions, prepare solution designs and proposals, and act as the trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process. You'll have the opportunity to work with enterprise-level technologies across CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and integrated security platforms, while collaborating with engineering, project delivery and national leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end electronic security solutions for commercial and government clients. Lead site assessments and technical presentations. Develop proposals, scopes of work and solution documentation. Provide presales technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. Support pricing, quotations and solution architecture. Work closely with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Build strong relationships with technology vendors and internal stakeholders. Contribute to the continued growth of the organisation's physical security practice. About You We're looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware and enjoys building trusted relationships with clients. What You'll Bring Strong experience within the electronic security industry. Solid knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and integrated security systems. Previous experience in a Presales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or similar technical role. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience presenting technical solutions and proposals to commercial and government clients. The ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions. Experience with Verkada is highly desirable. Relevant security industry licences and vendor certifications will be highly regarded.
