The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, jointing, termination, testing, and maintenance of high-voltage underground cable systems across major utility, mining, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects. This role will suit a motivated HV Cable Jointer with a strong safety focus and proven experience working on HV distribution and transmission networks. Key Responsibilities Perform HV cable jointing and termination works in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Install, maintain, and operate cable jointing equipment and associated tooling. Prepare and joint HV power cables and associated accessories. Complete indoor and outdoor cable terminations for substations, switchgear, transformers, and other HV equipment. Conduct cable fault finding, repairs, and maintenance activities. Assist with HV cable testing and commissioning activities. Read and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, and technical documentation. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements. Complete quality documentation, testing records, and project reports.
