Maintenance Supervisor – Boilermaker & Fitter Team (Precast Plant) Location: Blacktown Employment Type: Casual to Permanent We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Boilermaker and Fitter team within a busy precast concrete manufacturing plant. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and is committed to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, coordinating a skilled trades team, and ensuring plant equipment runs efficiently with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of boilermakers and fitters to deliver planned and breakdown maintenance Schedule, prioritise, and coordinate maintenance activities across the plant Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with WHS standards Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions on plant and equipment Drive preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives Manage maintenance records, reporting, and spare parts inventory Liaise with production teams to minimise disruption and optimise output About You Trade qualified Boilermaker, Fitter, or equivalent Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, heavy industry, or precast/concrete environments Strong mechanical aptitude with welding and fabrication experience highly regarded Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and practices Commitment to workplace health and safety Strong problem-solving and communication skills What We Offer Competitive hourly rate with overtime and allowances Stable, ongoing employment in a growing industry Supportive team environment Opportunities for career progression and development If you are a proactive leader with a strong trade background and a passion for keeping operations running at peak performance, we want to hear from you.
