This field-based will see you working on a range of Vermeer Equipment and will entail general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly. What You’ll Be Doing As a Service Technician you will: Diagnose, inspect, repair, and service heavy diesel equipment and machinery Perform engine overhauls, hydraulic and electrical system repairs, and general maintenance tasks Accurately document work completed, including parts used, time taken, and fluids consumed Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and company procedures Provide professional and customer-focused service, identifying and communicating solutions Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills Deliver expert service and support to our customers and partners Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: Mechanical Trade Certificate Great communication skills Excellent organisational skills Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills A current and valid driver’s licence A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.
