Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker / Shopfitter to join our manufacturing team in Virginia, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality cabinetry and shop fittings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and design. Responsibilities: Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to create custom cabinetry and shop fittings. Select appropriate materials and tools for each project, ensuring quality and efficiency. Assemble and install cabinetry and fittings on-site, ensuring precise measurements and finishes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met and expectations exceeded. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker or Shopfitter, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. Trade qualification in Cabinetmaking or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
