The Role As Production Manager, you’ll take the lead in driving performance, efficiency and growth across all production and manufacturing functions within our Eagle Farm Glass Division. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily manufacturing operation, production planning, safety, quality and team leadership, ensuring the production facility operates efficiently and meets output targets every day. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily production operations to ensure output targets, quality standards and delivery timeframes are consistently met Manage, coach, and develop production teams, including recruitment, performance management, training, and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. Oversee maintenance of plant, equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient production output. Identify, implement, and champion production and process improvements and efficiencies. Influence daily decision-making and resource allocation to optimise production efficiency and throughput Collaborate with internal stakeholders including scheduling, logistics and sales to meet production and delivery requirements Ensure compliance with all organisational, safety, and legislative requirements, maintaining a culture of accountability and care. What You’ll Bring: Industry expertise: Extensive experience in construction or manufacturing (glass experience highly regarded), with exposure to high volume manufacturing and production environments Leadership strength: Proven ability to mentor, develop, and empower teams to achieve success while remaining actively involved in day-to-day production. Excellent communicator: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills with sharp attention to detail. Commercial acumen: Sound financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, with the discipline and focus to deliver results. Tech savvy: Confident using Microsoft Office, ERP, CRM, and quoting systems (e.g. V6). Customer focus: A passion for delivering quality outcomes and maintaining strong customer relationships. Safety mindset: Solid understanding of Health & Safety standards and a commitment to creating a safe workplace.
