About the Role As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio and enjoy delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. As a confident communicator, you will build and maintain long-standing relationships and liaise with regulatory bodies whilst balancing multiple priorities. Duties Manage a varied client portfolio across compliance, advisory and proactive client support Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs Oversee BAS/IAS, payroll tax and ASIC compliance obligations Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies regarding client matters Provide tax planning, cashflow and business improvement advice to clients Build, maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance and feedback Skills & Experience Five – seven years’ experience within an Australian accounting public practice CA or CPA qualified, or near completion Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements including GST, CGT and Div 7A High proficiency across MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, BGL and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage competing deadlines and work autonomously Strong written and verbal communication skills Dedicated to professionalism, collaboration and exceptional client service Culture & Benefits Bright, modern open-plan office with stunning river views Direct mentoring from a highly experienced and supportive senior team Free onsite parking for easy, stress-free commuting Long-standing, stable team with strong retention and internal growth Purpose-driven organisation with a genuine focus on community impact A social, inclusive, and energetic culture that values collaboration and fun How to Apply Click APPLY to submit your application, including a cover letter and CV in one document in Microsoft Word only.
