Coordinate timely, accurate vehicle allocations to keep fleet operations running Competitive remuneration with a range of monetary and non‑monetary benefits Up to 4 paid Wellness Days plus 2 Volunteer Days each year ABOUT THE ROLE The purpose of this role is to support organisational goals by accurately receipting and allocating Salary Packaging funds, following up payment discrepancies, overdue payments, unidentified deposits in bank accounts, and payroll reports. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Uploading payroll files: Actively monitor the receipt of payroll files and payments in accordance with the expected timeframes. Reconcile funds received against the related payroll files/reports. Load payroll file in internal system and review any exceptions/discrepancies. Contact client to raise any exceptions as required. Monitor and action responses from the client to ensure resolution. Prepare and send client Payroll Advice notifications/reports. Follow up clients for any overdue invoices/payments. Respond to client queries accurately and efficiently daily. Work with other business units to resolve client and customer queries within reasonable timeframes. Escalate any serious issues to either the Team Leader, Tied to Payroll (Finance) or Manager, Tied to Payroll (Finance) within a reasonable timeframe. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or equivalent. Good understanding of accounting and tax principles relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations. High integrity and strong understanding of professional ethics. Strong customer service focus. Advanced MS Excel skills. Critically analyses information and can resolve problems through to complete resolution for customers in a timely, effective manner. Effective communicator both verbally and in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills. Strong technical/numerical skills. Shares knowledge that is thorough and accurate. Knowledge of, or the capacity to quickly learn, the fundamentals of salary packaging arrangements as well as a good understanding of how salary packaging delivers benefits to employees and employers. • Experience in or an understanding of fleet management, salary packaging or novated leasing is desirable.
