04th June, 2026 Quick Overview Role: Fitter Boilermaker City/Airport: Mascot, NSW Work Type: Ground Support Equipment / Workshop / Line Maintenance (GSE) Terms: Contingent – Ongoing Fast Response: Hear Back in 7 Days Role Description An experienced Fitter Boilermaker is required to support the maintenance, repair, and operational reliability of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) within a busy airport environment. This hands-on role will focus heavily on welding, fabrication, fitting, fault finding, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance activities across a diverse fleet of specialised airport equipment. Equipment maintained includes aircraft tugs, belt loaders, ground power units (GPUs), air start units (ASUs), baggage handling equipment, and other airside support assets critical to daily airport operations. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong welding and fitting background. Previous Ground Support Equipment experience is highly regarded but not essential. Candidates from heavy equipment, mobile plant, mining, transport, rail, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, or similar industries are encouraged to apply. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, fabricating replacement components where required, and ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational to support critical airline schedules.
