The Company: Privately owned, well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering complex electrical and mechanical equipment into industrial, infrastructure, and critical operating environments. Based in a major industrial precinct close to the M4 and M7, with good access from Blacktown, Rooty Hill, Minchinbury, St Marys, Penrith, Parramatta, and surrounding areas. The Role: They are looking for 3 experienced Industrial Electricians AND/OR Electrical Fitters. Work will vary from day to day, a hybrid role, based on the site and the field. Reading, interpreting, and working from technical schematics, drawings, and manuals. Fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical issues on a wide range of production machinery. Electrical fabrication, installation, fault finding, and repair of large control cabinets, 300Hz generators. Panel wiring, mixers, process machinery, large lathes, and vacuums. PLC fault-finding (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc). Install cable tray, ladder, containment, supports, and electrical equipment. Qualifications & What's on offer: Field and workshop-based role working across industrial electrical systems and engineered equipment. $55 to $60 per hour, plus super and overtime. Stability, career development, and great training programs. This position would suit an enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable Industrial Maintenance Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or Electrical Fitter. Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent. Strong knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery, VSDs, pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial safety systems.
