17th June, 2026 Pearl Recruitment are excited to partner with a leading provider of engineering design solutions to the mining industry, who are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Office Administrator to support their growing team in Perth CBD. This role is being offered as a 7 - 8 month maternity leave cover, with commencement required in early July to allow for a thorough handover. This is a great opportunity for an organised and capable administrator with previous experience supporting finance-related functions, including payroll, invoicing, purchase orders and general accounts administration. Office Administrator (Part-Time) Perth CBD Location 7 - 8 Month Maternity Leave Cover Monday to Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm (Some Flexibility Available with Hours) Commencement early July Casual Rate of $40 - $50hr Super (pending experience) What will this position entail? Reporting to the People & Culture Manager and supporting the broader Finance team, you will assist with day-to-day office operations, administration, employee documentation and overflow accounts support. Duties will include: Acting as a point of contact for overflow incoming calls, general queries and internal employee enquiries Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding processes Assisting in completion of payroll and employee set up within Xero Supporting invoicing processes and working closely with the Accounts and Engineering teams to ensure invoices are completed accurately and on time Raising and managing general purchase orders Supporting the People & Culture and Finance teams with ad hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations What are the requirements? Proven experience in an administration role supporting finance or HR (ideally within payroll, accounts and general invoicing functions) Experience using Xero (essential) Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Full working rights for the duration of the assignment What are the benefits on offer?
